I am offering these prints for sale to raise funds for a home emergency. My homeowner’s insurance company is threatening to drop me if I don’t fix a major crack in the foundation and cut the trees that are growing into the roof. “Held Fast” is a Silk Screen print I created in a workshop at Remarque Print Studio in Albuquerque, NM with printmaker Pete McCracken. I love the print I pulled- the design came to me spontaneously and I created it right there in class. I had a few problems, but overall, I love it, and I hope you will too.

“Held Fast” Serigraph (artist pulled silk screen). This print is essentially one color. But if you look closely, that Payne’s greyish bleeds into a brick red at the edges. Barely. Very Subtle. There are only 2 prints in this color. The colors were hand mixed so I can never really quite make these colors again. On white printmaking paper. Signed by artist. Listed on print as A/P (artist proof). No edition.

Print comes rolled in a box. Upon receipt, open immediately. Lay flat. Gently roll the print the opposite way- a little at the top and a little at the bottom to unroll the curve a bit - gently! Then lay flat on print side on a clean surface and it will flatten out. If you can weight it, that will help too.
