I love the shared experience of working together in a group that honors vulnerability and self-expression. My joy is connecting participants with their inner wisdom through a unique creative process that combines journal writing with art making in the safe container of a book. This deep work we attend to through writing, through painting, mapmaking, collage, scratching, scribbling reveals the signs and symbols of our personal mythology - the very core of who we are. Visual journaling is storytelling and contrary to what you may have been told, our stories are legendary. I hope you’ll join me around the table in person for a life changing Visual Journaling retreat, or dive deep in the comfort of your own space and in your own time in an online workshop!

For creativity sake! Join a small group of intrepid journalers for monthly Visual Journaling groups at my studio in Albuquerque, NM. Space is limited. Each month we work through a different assignment that layers journal writing with images for self-expression. It's easy! I'll show you how! In this intimate studio setting, we go deep to uncover signs and symbols from within. If you are not interested in doing inner work, please do not come. What is a Visual Journal?

(This is not the Visual Journaling group where we meet once a month and I give an assignment and guide you through every step, but I hope you will join us for both meetings, as these two creative practices complement each other! In the monthly Visual Journaling group, we learn techniques that you may want to work on further in the studio sessions, or maybe you begin an amazing page through one of my assignments that you want to delve into more fully but can’t seem to eke out the time or space on your own).
